» About the School

 

ACTING INTERNATIONAL - THE SCHOOL OF THEATRE AND CINEMA was founded in 1980 in Paris by Robert Cordier, an internationally reknowned theatre and film director from the Director's Unit of Actors Studio, New York, whos professional background included meeting and working with such personalities as Stella Adler, Lee Strasberg, Elia Kazan, Harold Clurman, as well as Robert de Niro, James Baldwin, Roman Polanski, Marcel Marceau, Gérard Philippe, Jean Paul Belmondo and many others.

 

Acting International's teaching staff unites  world class master teachers in it's conservatory programs in Paris, New York and Hollywood.

 

Our teachers have had teaching and studying experience in such schools as Vakhtangov Institute and GITIS in Moscow; RADA The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London; Actors Studio New York, William Esper Studio American Academy of Dramatic Arts, TISCH School of arts, New York University, University of California, Los Angeles, University of South California, in USA; as well as France’s great National Schools : Atelier Robert Cordier in Paris, Conservatoires Nationaux, Théâtre national de Strasbourg, RueBlanche, Marcel Marceau School of Mime, Ecole Jacques Lecoq, Charles Dullin School, etc.
