» Cathleen Leslie
Cathleen Leslie is a lifetime member of the Actor's Studio and has been appointed final judge. Cathleen Leslie studied full time with Lee Strasberg; she also spent ten years in Paris, France where she created her own acting school at the famous Café de a Gare where she taught French. She also taught the junior year abroad for both Skidmore and Bennington Colleges, acting majors. She wrote, directed and produced her original musical play "L'Aquarium" which was chosen for the famous "Festival du Printemps". Hotel", starring Mel Gibson.
Upon returning to the United States, she spent three years in New York City teaching full time at the School of Visual Arts. She spent two weeks in Mexico coaching on James Cameron's Oscar winning film "Titanic". She coached Robert Townsend on Showtime original T.V. Film "Love Songs" and recently coached Charlayne Woodward on Wun Wender 's production "The One Hundred Million Dollar Cathleen Leslie is also an active member of the American Film Institute Associates where she was honored this year to be chosen for the committee of the International Film Series.
Her acting credits include Taxi Diver, Saturday Night Fever, State of Emergency, The Front, The Happy Ending, and Wrong is Right. Her T.V. credits include the Traveling Gourmet, The Anderson Files, and the mini-series " Sins". Her theater acting credits include the "Rose Tattoo", "A View form the Bridge", "The House of Bernarda Alba", "The Chain", written and directed by the famed Elia Kazan and most recently, "At the Bottom" at the Actors Studio" in New York City which was directed by Arthur Penn.
