Yves Collignon was trained at the conservatory of Brussels and
Paris. He is Member of the Actors Studio U.S.A. since 1987.
He worked on classic and modern shows, television and film,
with P.Mondy, Serrault, Scola, H. Bennent, Brialy, R. Enrico,
A. Baiocco, Jean Marais, R.Davis, Boisset, J. Pinheiro, G.
Battiato, and S. Leroy. His career led him to different
European and African countries and to the USA. He settled in
Italy for a moment where he worked in prestigious studios like
Cinecitta, De Laurentis…
In addition to his job as actor, he directed some short films
and wrote pilots of short fictions for TV. He also directed
some video clips and documentaries in black Africa and deals
with the picking up of several concerts. His experiences with
other cultures, other languages, other ways of thinking gave
him way to a more global approach of acting.
For almost ten years, he’s teaching film to actors. He just
added to his work a training for technicians, his objective is
to make the different backgrounds of film interact with each
other.
