Alexandre Velikovski is a graduate of the prestigious Schukine-Vakhtangov Drama Academy and of Cours Supérieur de Mise en Scène de Ministère de la Culture (Moscow) He is a director and a professional actor since1976 on stage, TV and film. He teaches drama since 1992, in the major acting schools such as the Vakhtangov drama Academy, the Theatre School of the Roland Bykov Foundation, l'Institut National du Cinéma (VGIC), and teaches masterclass and workshops in the USA, in Russia and in Bulgaria.

1978-1979: Begins as a director.
Co-direction of « Lecture du Héros de notre temps » (Lermontov) with Alla Kiguel at the Théâtre du Jeune Spectateur of Moscow (MTUZ) and Musée du Théâtre

1982 : « Longue promenade à jamais » (assemblage of several Russian and contemporary American novels)

Since 1976, more than 50 roles in classic and contemporary plays at the Théâtre du Jeune Spectateur (MTUZ) and in other theatres
Film and television:
1985 : Directs and acts the first role in a film on Griboedov’s life
He acted in around ten films

ACTOR AND DIRECTOR TRAINING
- Teaches control of acting at the department of actors of the Vakhtangov Drama Academy (Moscow) and at the Theatre School of Roland Bykov’s Foundation (Moscow) (since 1992)
- Manages the international projects of the actors department of The Russian State Institute of Cinematography (VGIC) in Moscow (since 1997)
- Teaches direction with the actors at the department of film directors at the National Institute of Cinematography (VGIC) in Moscow (since 2001)
-Run masterclass and workshops in the USA, Russia and Bulgaria
Teaching is essentially based on he tradition of Russian school about acting control and the director’s work (Stanislavski, Vakhtangov, M. Tchekhov), as well as on contemporary studies and experiences.
