Robin made her profession acting debut at the age of 17 starring opposite Chita Ribiera and Donald O'Connor in the Broadway musical "Bring back Birdie". Since then she has worked steadily both on and off-Broadway, regionally and in television and film. Her credits include the original company of John Guare's "Six Degrees of Separation" and the Arena Stage production of Athol Fugrad's "My Choldren! My Africa!" (Helen Hayes Award nomination for Best Actress).

 

Robin has studied the Meisner Technique with William Esper, Shakespeare with Patsy Rodenburg, and is a proud member of Manhattan Class Company and works frequently with the 52nd Street Project.

 

She began teaching in 1994, coaching many well known actors for stage, television and film, and is currently on the faculty of the undergraduate acting program at N.Y.U. She has also directed for the Atlantic Theatre Company's N.Y.U. trainihng program.
